Patricia Richard is from Mont Carmel, Prince Edward Island. Born into a family of singers, it was obvious that she was going to become one too. The music runs in her veins because she has also inherited the talents of dancer, instrumentalist and singer-songwriter.
Her know-how has led her on the scene with several groups including ACADILAC for 5 years.
In 2004, she participated in song training workshops at the Gala de la chanson in Granby, Quebec. From 2004 to 2010, Patricia was part of the cast of Ode à l’Acadie. They made more than 450 performances in Canada, the United States, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Africa and recorded 2 albums as well as 2 television shows. The show won the ECMA award for French recording of the year, and two Éloizes awards for the show of the year.
Patricia continued her collaborations with many artists on various musical projects, such as with her aunt Angèle Arseneault and her sister Marcella Richard. Patricia Richard is a talented artist who masters music and brilliantly interprets songs of yesterday and today. She will be releasing a new album soon with Lennie Gallant.
